Supporting medical students in Africa

DO HAWOOD hopes to contribute to a better world by providing young adults with opportunities to develop themselves to their full potential and start or continue their University education.  DO HAWOOD supports these young adults with their study and their academic career with the goal to contribute to the development in their own country. Since 2011 33 students have graduated. Currently 15 students are supported.

However we cannot achieve our goals alone. Find out how you can help.

About

Do Hawood foundation aims to facilitate obtaining a (para)medical degree in Somaliland by providing (part of) the study fees. Our annual activities include: transferral of fees directly to the universities twice a year, regular contact with our local coaches, writing an annual report. As a basis we accept annual applications for new students. The board reserves the right to postpone this procedure. Our donations come from private sponsors who wish to support a student directly in Somaliland. All our cash flows follow though one checking account. We do not use a savings account and we do not invest in financial products.
