Our local partners are very important to ensure that students get the right help and coaching if needed.

Studying in Africa requires strong commitment and focus. Lots of things can happen in terms of family matters, financial challenges and external issues. What to do? Should one go home and help the family? Or should one continue studying? How to deal with unsatisfactory results? How to ensure a good learning environment? Local coaching and guidance is therefore very important. DO HAWOOD ensures that every student has access to a local coach. If necessary the sponsor and local coach can communicate on the wellbeing and the progress of the student in question. Communication between sponsor en student is warmly recommended, because the relationship between sponsor en student will be an enrichment for both.
